Completed Projects - 50.45MW
The 50.45MW was developed and commissioned in March 2009.
The project is implemented by Techno's wholly-owned subsidiary Simran Wind Project Private Limited, its green power company.
The generating capacity comprises 50.45MW in Tamil Nadu and Karnataka. The capacity of each WTG ranges from 0.6 MW to1.5MW. The PPA is signed with the State Electricity Board of both Tamil Nadu and Karnataka at Rs 2.90 to Rs. 3.39 per unit and Rs 3.4 per unit respectively.
The generation capacity got registered with UNFCC on December 2010 and is estimated to generate 50000 CER. Out of this capacity, 7.5 MW has been registered with Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency (IREDA) for Generation Based Incentive (GBI).
